Pleasure Construction combines my desires to find sensitive ways of representing sexuality and to question stereotypes in this field. The process of drawing is slow and tender. Details of body contours, hair, patterns in a fabric and abstract surfaces meet in the drawings. For the exhibition, I designed an open wooden construction, inviting viewers to enter the work and involve themselves with the spatial relationships between the images, the exhibition space and their own bodies moving through it.
