In preparation for this work I talked to an employee of the Regierungspräsidium (Regional Administrative Council) about the procedures in this institution. Being aware of bodily experiences and intimacy is not a daily issue in this workplace. In a passageway to the cantina, I installed a tv. Here, people stand close to each other in a row waiting for their meal. The video shows pictures of bodies in a private atmosphere, like these hands stroking each other tenderly.

Im Vorfeld der Ausstellung habe ich mich mit einer Mitarbeiterin des Regierungspräsidiums über die Abläufe in der Behörde unterhalten. Die Wahrnehmung von Körperlichkeit und Intimität ist an diesem Arbeitsplatz nicht an der Tagesordnung. Im Gang zur Kantine, wo Menschen dicht hintereinander Schlange stehen, wenn sie Mittagessen wollen, habe ich einen Fernseher platziert. Das Video zeigt Bilder von Körpern in einer privaten Atmosphäre, beispielsweise die Hände einer Person, die zärtlich übereinander streichen.
